1 cup 1 brazil nut (unsalted, unsweetened)
4 cups 4 water (filtered or distilled)
2 2 dates (pitted)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Soak the Brazil Nuts: You will have to place the Brazil Nuts in a container of water (a bowl is fine) and they must be covered overnight to soak. You can do up to 4 hours or 8; but the recommended is overnight so they’re soft enough to blend thoroughly. You want it to be as smooth and creamy as possible.
- Rinse the Nuts: When you’re done soaking; make sure to rinse them very thoroughly so that they’re clean! This is a very important step for flavor and cleanliness
- Blend the Nuts: Once it’s rinsed, pour 4 cups of water into the blender and combine them with the Brazil Nuts and the pitted dates. Blend on a high speed until smooth.
- Strain the Milk: You will need to strain all the extra pulp from the milk. There are nut milk specific bags for straining. You can also use a cheesecloth or a small fine mesh strainer.
- Enjoy Get your favorite mug and start drinking! If it’s too watery, add more nuts. If it’s too creamy, add more water. The best part of this, is that you can adjust this to your palette and taste.
